1.) Where do you go for Thanksgiving?
Back to Central Illinois….lunch in Emden and Supper in Danvers…more turkey that we should consume will be consumed.
2.) What does your family traditionally eat/make for Thanksgiving?
The traditional items (ie. turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberries, loads of pie…etc. etc.)
3.) Do you like this holiday?
I love any holiday where I can feast on homemade goodness and hang out with family!
4.) Favorite part about this holiday?
Seeing family that we don’t get to see that often….and the pumpkin pie.Â
5.) Perfect Christmas setting?
Traveling home to be with family…light snow on the ground…being with family all day long…sharing a yummy meal…forcing the cats to wear their Christmas bandanas.Â
6.) Christmas morning/day tradition?
We’re usally at my parents house…we wake up early, open presents, eat whatever yummy breakfast food mom has made…get dressed and drive to Marseilles to my Grandma and Grandpa Spark’s house…pig out…more presents…drive back to Danvers just in time to pig out again…fun with the family white elephant gift exchange…and more presents. It’s a long, but amazing day!

8.) Major item on wish list?
Closet Organizers (man…I really am an adult now!)
9.) How do you decorate for Christmas?
It pretty much looks like Christmas threw up all over my house….I go pretty crazy…but it’s all very tasteful! Lots of greens and bows and gold things.  I make a big deal with the front porch too…not sure which way I’ll go this year!
10.) Favorite vacation to take during December?
Going to my parents house and staying there for a week….sleeping in every morning….eat mom’s cooking….side trip to IKEA….watching way too many movies. Pretty much just being lazy with family and being away from Greenville!
11.)Do you decorate your bedroom for Christmas?
I put greens around all of the doorways in the house…maybe that counts.Â
12.)Do you go shopping on Black Friday? Black Friday- the day after Thanksgiving.?
We usually go to IKEA that day…but I’m not sure if we’ll go this year or not.Â
13.) Do you go sledding?
If there’s snow I do!
14.)What do you like to do in the snow?
Sledding…and lots of it! (I haven’t been sledding in awhile…can you tell!?)
15.) Do you believe in Santa?
I used to…until one fateful Christmas day when I asked for Santa’s autograph….and quickly realized that it was mom’s handwriting…with a few extra squiggles here and there….good times.Â
16.) Family tradition on CHRISTMAS?
Jared and I have our own little Christmas on Christmas Eve…we wake up…open presents…have breakfast together….and then head back to our parent’s in time for church service.Â
17.) Plans for New Years Eve?
Undecided as of right now. We’ll see!
