Life with Gling

So Jared and I are taking off for his friends Luke’s wedding around 11:00 today. We’re driving over to Lafayette, Indiana for the rehearsal today and then the wedding tomorrow. We’ve been traveling a lot lately, so I’m not looking foward to another long drive…but I do love weddings! (Especially when my hubby’s in a tux!) I had fun trying on all my spring dresses last night…to pick one out to wear. Seriously, I’m such a girly-girl…and I love it!

Also…let’s take a moment of silent appreciation for those in American who did not vote for Sanjaya on American Idol this week……..ah yes……good stuff! I’m all about Blake winning at this point…he’s my fav…closely followed by Jordin Sparks (because she’s amazing…and she has a GREAT last name!)

So yeah…I need to get back to work and get everything together so that I can leave in another hour or so.

This past week we were on vacation…and then home for Easter. We got back late Sunday night…and I’m just now getting a chance to post a blog. Gatlinburg was amazing and wonderful, as usual. The weather was perfect…never too hot…and never too cold. We vacationed with family this year…which was also awesome. It reminded me how much I miss living close to family…but I seriously love Greenville. Playing with our nieces and nephews is always a joy! We hiked a lot too…over 5 miles in one day…up mountains and back down! (I discovered muscles that I never knew existed…and I do not like them!) We’re trying to get back in the swing of things this week…which is always hard after being gone for awhile. I’m slowly getting laundry done…and slowly getting excited about being back at work. Tomorrow I’m leaving for Nashville for a college fair at Opryland…how cool is that?! Perhaps this could be the best college fair venue I’ve been to. Anyway…I wish I had more time and desire to make this blog super long and cool…but alas…I don’t. More to come later!
