Dude! Go get yourself a date and head to the movie theatre to see Nap0lean Dynamite! Jared and I decided to go and see what the hype was about and treated ourselves to a movie on Saturday night. The movie, of course, was none other than Napolean Dynamite. I haven’t laughed so hard at a movie since Billy Madison hit the theatres back in jr. high. It’s definitely one of the most retarded movies ever…and probably isn’t for everyone. However, my life has been made more complete since Jared and I saw this movie. If you love pointless humor…then it’s for you. Oh, may I also recommend a tasty dinner of Steak n’ Shake before the movie as well. I just love their milkshakes. Mixing chocolate and banana or vanilla and banana is awesome! I could drink one every day. Granted…I’d probably gain a bazillion pounds…but it totally might be worth it. Anywho…I need to finish this up and get back to work. Ah yes….work….and the joys of being an adult.

It’s the weekend! Woooo-hoooo!!!! I’m so excited for a great weekend of rest and such. Since I’m finally done with the bulk of travel season, Jared and I can finally relax and enjoy a weekend for once. I had to go grocery shopping this week because we were running out of food. I haven’t cooked a real meal in such a long time. I’m leaving work as soon as I’m done with this update…to go make a scrumtrulescent meal consisting of pumpkin pancakes with apple cider syrup and some good ol’ greasy bacon. I love to cook. If I weren’t so into being a sociologist…I’d totally want to go to cooking school and become a chef. I’ve always loved to cook…but now I’m just totally infatuated with making fun new meals for Jared and I. I can’t wait until we have a bigger place (with a bigger kitchen) so that we can invite more people over for supper and stuff. (More exciting updates on our next place of living later…I don’t want to give away the details quite yet…but we’re definitely going to be somewhere MUCH nicer by February.) So yeah…off I go into the wonderful world of weekend! Yay!

Finally, after 3 weeks of intense traveling to college fairs I am home! I have so much missed the confines of our small, ghetto apartment in little ol’ Greenville. More than anything I’ve missed my dear sweet hubby. Being away from him is the hardest part of traveling. I’m also glad to be able to cook again. Traveling means eating in lots of restaurants, which can be a lot of fun, but can also get old. While on the road, I found myself missing my daily bowl of cereal and the grilled cheese sandwhiches that Jared and I eat on a regular basis. It’s also crazy to get back to the office. I’ve just been sitting at my desk staring into nothing as I try to figure out where to even begin. Anyway…that’s boring! I’m going to finish this entry up with that. I’m tired and ready to go home and put on my sweat pants and an oversized t-shirt. Adios!
