I’m a big kid now…

I feel like such a grown up right now. I just participated in my very first college fair. I’ve been preparing for this all summer, and now it’s here. It’s travel season…and that means I’m a business woman on my own. I’m sitting in my own hotel room typing away at my laptop, preparing for another day of work. Today I ate lunch by myself…in public. I’ve never done that before. I was actually a little nervous about it…but something about the whole situation made me feel kinda proud. I wanted to pat myself on the back as I sat down with my briefcase and pasta. I get to travel all over the place in the next month or so. I get to spend 5 days in Michigan. I’ve never been to Michigan…sounds like fun! The only bad part about all of this…is not having my hubby with me. Talking on the phone with him at night just isn’t the same as snuggling. At any rate…such a crazy fun transitional time in my life…and it’s great! So now I’m going to work on some office stuff for a bit…and then I’m going to enjoy some tv and this massive king size bed I’ve got to myself. (I must admit…I jumped on it when I first got into the room…but who doesn’t?!) So yeah…goodnight everyone!
