Jared is on a retreat this weekend…and I am sad. He’s the coolest husband in the entire universe…and I can’t be with him this weekend. So bummed am I. I am, however, looking foward to completely cleaning our apartment and spending long hours in front of the television watching cooking and decorating shows! (Decorating shows are nowhere near as cool as Jared is!) Oh, in other big news…I got a haircut today. You might not think is anything to be excited about…but it is. Not only does it look super cute and awesome…it was the first time I have gone to a new hairstylest in over 10 years. It took some courage and much prayer…but I finally realized that I must move on and find someone here in Greenville to cut my hair. (Driving 2 hours to Lincoln each time I needed a haircut was just getting to be too much.) Anyway…the guy who cut my hair was lots of fun. His name is Jim and he’s a bass fisherman….yeah, and he cuts wicked awesome hair. We chatted about lots of things as he transformed my hair into awesomeness. We talked about bass fishing (which my dad loves), small towns, marriage, churches here in town and why we go to them, religion and ministers…it was awesome! So not only did I get great hair out of the deal…I had a great conversation as well. So that’s it…I’m sold on going to Jim to get my hair done from now on….well at least until we move again. Ok…going home from work now….yay!!!
