Well, New Student Orientation is almost here…and the office is crazy! It’s really weird seeing students come back to campus…knowing that I’m no longer a student. No more dorm life for me. No more classes with Dr. Jackson. No more midnight ice cream runs with my roommates. No more all-nighter’s with my roommates, watching such movies as “Josie and Pussycats” and “Bubbleboy.” It’s really starting to sink in that I’m growing up. I’m totally happy about being married and moving on though…it’s just weird to think about sometimes. I know that I can totally count on Jared to take me for ice cream at odd hours of the night, and to let me watch silly movies with him, and to even stay up talking with me all night. It’s a great new phase in my life…but like I said…sometimes it’s hard to let go. On a positive note…this means no more mid-terms, finals, thesis writinng etc. Well, until I go back to Grad. School to get my Master’s. Anywho…I’m about to leave work. Gotta pack up the laptop and go make my hubby some food. Tonight is laundry night….oh boy! (ha) I need to get some sleep before the crazy weekend of incoming freshmen gets here. I slept for like 13 hours lastnight…what’s up with that?! Fell alseep at 7:00 on the couch…woke up at 10:30, washed face, climbed into bed, said goodnight to Jared, and there I slept until 8:10 this morning. Maybe the mono’s coming back to get me….but I won’t let it! Take that stupid mono! Ok…seriously…I’m ending this now…gotta go. Adios!
